Ryan Maness joined MultiState in 2012 and serves as Senior Policy Analyst and Tax Counsel. He help clients to gain a holistic view of state tax policy by tracking and analyzing individual pieces of legislation as well as broader policy trends. His previous experience includes the Colorado House of Representatives, the Colorado Conflict Defender's Office, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Ryan earned his bachelor's degrees in philosophy and political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from Syracuse University. He primarily blogs on state tax and budget policy.
